Some actors don’t feel comfortable when they hear my music. That’s because it is something completely different, it has a different sensibility and understanding of the context. But this lack of comfort often results in some truly special work.

Robert Piernikowski is a co-founder of Napszykłat, a one of a kind Polish hip-hop group whose sound exists on the edges of post-hip-hop, noise, minimal and improvisational electronic music. His artistic expressions defy all efforts to label or categorize them. His debut as a theatre composer took place in 2013 at the Stary Theatre in Jan Klata’s staging of Oedipus Rex.
