At MICET, we are not only interested in dealing with the nearly 240-year history of Krakow’s Stary Theatre and its role in creating Polish culture and art – we also want to address plays and concerns that make up the current repertoire. The Museum offers a wide variety of educational programs: youth, adult and senior-focused workshops conducted by theatre educators, MICET Master Class workshops led by practicing artists, children’s theatre programs, temporary exhibitions and cyclical events featuring Stary Theatre artists.

Redefining concepts, thought mapping, analyzing the sense of objects (props), improvisation and the creative process – we want MICET events to inspire serious questions: Where do we come from? Who we are? Who we can become?
